Defining Integrated Weed Management: A Novel Conceptual Framework for Models
نویسندگان
چکیده
Weed population dynamics models are an important tool for predicting the outcome of alternative Integrated Management (IWM) scenarios. The growing problem herbicide resistance has increased urgency these tools in design sustainable IWM solutions. We developed a conceptual framework defining as standardised input template to allow output from different be compared and could also used quantitative metric determine whether more diverse systems less vulnerable using empirical data. Using logic object-oriented programming, we defined four classes weed management options based on stage life cycle that they impact processes mediate their effects. Objects same class share common set properties behaviour models. Any control “event” system is associated with object, meaning scenarios can built by systematically adding events model either compare existing or novel approaches. Our designed generic, allowing cropping countries compared.

Key Factors for Defining the Conceptual Framework for Quality Assurance in E-Learning
E-learning has evolved for more than a decade, and universities are gradually embracing e-learning to provide more learning experience for their learners. E-learning is the use of electronic means through which training is received and obtained. E-learning offers a wide range of advantages (time and room mobility, cost-effectiveness, etc.) and also overcomes the limitations of digital learning ...
متن کاملTrue integrated weed management
Using the simplest of definitions, integrated weed management has been described as “putting components [of weed control] together, not taking them apart.” Yet, weed science has stopped at the “field edge” in assembling the components into a truly integrated approach. What is keeping weed scientists from developing real integrated weed control regardless of space and time? The answer to this qu...
متن کاملA conceptual framework for integrated STEM education
The global urgency to improve STEM education may be driven by environmental and social impacts of the twentyfirst century which in turn jeopardizes global security and economic stability. The complexity of these global factors reach beyond just helping students achieve high scores in math and science assessments. متن کاملBuilding a Comprehensive Conceptual Framework for Power Systems Resilience Metrics
Recently, the frequency and severity of natural and man-made disasters (extreme events), which have a high-impact low-frequency (HILF) property, are increased. These disasters can lead to extensive outages, damages, and costs in electric power systems. A power system must be built with “resilience” against disasters, which means its ability to withstand disasters efficiently while ensuring the ...
